1980
In Denver, Colorado, police officers went to the property of 44-year-old Ronald Alexander, after reports of gunshots. They found Alexander on his garage floor.
An unidentified assailant had shot him. Despite being taken to hospital, he died the following day of his wounds.
There seemed to be no motive in the murder. The circumstances surrounding his death and the identity of the shooter have remained a mystery ever since.
